Let's face it folks...

All this talk about counting cards AND the supposed wonders it will perform to up our chances of winning in Blackjack - is just ridiculous for the average player! Come on now - most casinos deal with six-to-eight deck shoots, not to mention all the controversy if counting cards is even legal or not.

For those of you out there interested and who want to actually gain some real winnings; I have compiled here a great-

Blackjack Beginners Betting Strategy...

But before that I want make things perfectly clear - cards have absolutely no memory, meaning; in the horrible chance of you getting 4 or 5 bust hands in a row, doesn't mean that the your next hand has any better odds to come up good. It's still a fifty-fifty chance NO MATTER HOW you look at it.

Too many times now I have seen someone sit down beside me on a Blackjack table with a decent amount of cash and end up leaving empty-handed because they so called "felt lucky" and decided to bet big. This feeling is usually excitement from the casino atmosphere and to be honest - usually results in no winnings.

To start:

  1. Don't even think Blackjack if you're under the weather or if your not fully focused.
  2. Keep your emotions under control, be comfortable.
  3. Drink at the bar - not at the table!
  4. Expect to win.
  5. Know how much to win and how much to lose.
  6. Know if the dealer Hits or Stands on Soft-17.
  7. Focus on the dealer.
  8. Know how to Bet.

Ok, with that said - now let's elaborate on #8 on the list:

Knowing How to Bet in Blackjack - Your Blackjack Beginners Betting Strategy

There is great controversy over this issue as to which strategies work and which don't. Though with this strategy the betting principle is progression betting after 2 consecutive wins, so that the player never loses money on any sequence that begins with a win. Winning a double down hand and both hands in a split also count as 2 consecutive wins as it still supports playing with the house's money.

Breaking that all down - say you sit down at a $5 Blackjack table:

  • Bet $5, win 2 times with this bet then move on to...
  • Bet $10, win 2 times with this bet then move on to...
  • Bet $15, and so on.

After any loss, return to Bet $5, starting-over the sequence once again. Proving that after two $5 wins and then the player loses the $10 bet, he/she is still even.

Staying consistant with the basic rules and complementing them with this betting strategy is a sure way to up your Blackjack winning odds in the long run. Leaving you with this REMEMBER these 3 final tips with this strategy:

  1. NEVER take Even Money.
  2. ONLY take insurance if you were gong to double down or if you have 2 Aces.
  3. Basic Rules for Blackjack can be found on many sites through a Google search.
